
History
After receiving requests by clients to deliver a program targeted
at improving employees’ ability to communicate on their feet,
we decided to develop UPFRONT Persuasion
Through Presentation.
In the beginning, the majority of our clients were in the high-tech
industry. Presentations were delivered by very bright people with
important information to convey.
The primary business-problem was two-fold; these people typically
did not feel comfortable delivering presentations, and most were
untrained in presentation skills. Our clients were afraid they were
not differentiating themselves in the marketplace through their
presentations.
As a result, in 1995 we decided to create a program that would
improve people’s ability to deliver more effective presentations.
The program has now been translated into 17 languages and delivered
in over 25 countries. We are proud that our effort has been career
enhancing for many people.

We are continuing to explore new ways to be effective as presenters.
We are fortunate to be working with leading edge organizations that
are defining our technological future. In some cases they also have
begun to help us look at new ways to present information. This will
shape what we deliver in the classroom as well as how we deliver
the program in the future.
Alternative forms of training
are on the horizon
E-learning, Web-based training and alternative forms of delivery
are now being incorporated into our offering. We work hard to bring
the right intellectual resources together to achieve successful
outcomes.
Blended offerings provide a combination of internet and classroom
training. This allows clients to be in better control of costs,
geography, and field time.
